This is a great brewer for those who want to brew excellent coffee at home, but also dont want to over complicate things. Its super simple to use and really, rather clever.

It's a similar shape to a pour over coffee brewer, but has a valve in the bottom which releases when put on a mug! This means you can just had your coffee to the water and leave it to brew for as long as you need, similar to a French Press or Aeropress.

Wet your filter first and discard the water, then fill the brewer with hot water, fresh off the boil.

Then add your coffee to the full brewer.

Adding coffee after your water is unusual to most other brewers, but with the clever dripper it helps to stop the brewer stalling.

This means your coffee 'draws down' quicker giving you a more consistent extraction.

After you've added your coffee, give it a little stir to make sure all the coffee is wet.

You can do this quite gently, dont go over the top. You just need all the wet before you leave it to brew.

Around 2mins into your brew, give the brewer a little shake/spin. This helps break the surface tension of the coffee so all the small floating bits sink to the bottom.

At 2:30 place the brewer onto a mug or carafe big enough for all the coffee to fit in. This recipe is designed for a large brew, ideally to be shared, so you'll either need a very big mug or a carafe!
